If you belong to any of these institutions and are interested in participating in the Double Degree programs at UC Chile, please request more information from the International Relations office at your university. Nominations are made through the student's home university, and independent applications will not be accepted.

Application requirements

If you wish to apply for a Double Degree at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, you must submit the following documentation to your Double Degree coordinator at your university. Documentation must be presented in Spanish or English; otherwise, a translation with the translator's signature and stamp must be requested. Documents must be uploaded to our website in digital format using the respective application form.

  • Complete your online application here. The system will automatically generate a PDF form based on the data provided.
  • Letter of introduction from the International Relations office of the home university nominating the student as a Double Degree candidate.
  • Spanish language proficiency certificate, only if you are not a native speaker (B2 level according to CEFR, DELE or SIELE certificate, or a letter from the Spanish department of your home university confirming that your Spanish level is B2).
  • Official transcript of records.
  • Applicant's valid passport (identification page).
  • Proof of tuition payment from your home university.
  • Document certifying social and health coverage.
  • Degree certificate (only for Master's Double Degrees).
  • Applicants for the Architecture double degree must upload a 4-page letter-size portfolio (8 sides).
  • Passport-size photograph (white background).
