UC Virtual Open School for Doctoral Programs 2020

The UC 2020 Virtual Open Doctoral School will include participation from the Social Sciences and Humanities. It is organized by the Graduate School of the Vice-Rectorate for Research at the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile (UC). The event will be held online for the first time on October 28 and 29. You can participate in activities on both days according to your area of interest (you can register for only one area).
The goal of this School is to introduce you to our programs in social sciences and humanities through a series of online activities where you can experience firsthand what it’s like to study for a doctorate at one of the best institutions in Chile and Latin America.
The programs that will participate are:
- Architecture and Urban Studies
- Communication Sciences
- Right
- Economics
- Education
- Philosophy
- History, Geography and Political Science
- Letters (Linguistics and Literature)
This is a unique opportunity that will allow you to learn in detail about the characteristics of UC doctoral programs, including topics such as: study plan, academic staff, application process and requirements, among others.
Additionally, there will be Q&A/Discussion sessions, in which participants can interact with the teams, representatives and students of the programs to resolve doubts.
