How does it work?

- The applicant must have a basic knowledge of the language they wish to practice, enough to be able to hold a conversation.
- The applicant agrees to help their partner with the language they wish to practice, for at least one hour per week at a time agreed upon by the couple.
- The program coordinator will assign a partner to each applicant as soon as another student from one of the participating universities registers. Partners will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Spaces are limited.
- All meetings will be conducted via Zoom or a similar video conferencing platform agreed upon by both participants.
- After being paired, students will be responsible for setting dates and times for their weekly meetings. Students are expected to meet for at least one hour per week.
- Students will be assigned a partner at the end of the orientation meeting.
