With the objective of cultivating a sense of belonging and global responsibility, the Internationalization at Home area offers opportunities for the entire UC community. These instances are designed to develop global competencies, practice languages and learn through international teaching methodologies. Through various activities, academic, personal and professional development is enhanced, enriching education without the need to leave the country.
Through master classes, experiential workshops and cultural fairs, we seek to prepare students, academics and professionals to face the challenges of an interconnected world, promoting active and collaborative learning.
Global Conversations
The Global Conversations initiative invites students, academics and professionals to participate in virtual conversation spaces between members of the UC and other foreign universities. It is organized by themes and is carried out in collaboration with partner universities and academic units of the UC, offering instances of conversation with an intercultural and global perspective, thus promoting the development of global competencies in the university community.

The world is full of opportunities for you to develop your leadership with a global perspective! Every semester we prepare a list of scholarships, awards, and global leadership programs available to UC undergraduate and graduate students .
Practice a language
Learn about the programs and initiatives within the UC that allow you as a student, teacher, administrative or professional, to practice and improve your language skills through conversation and immersive activities.
Talk2me
These programs aim to allow UC undergraduate students to practice a language of their choice with native Spanish speakers from foreign universities who wish to improve their Spanish. All of this takes place through everyday conversation and in an online format.

English for Life
As part of the internationalization process of the university, this program seeks to strengthen the English language skills of those who work at the institution. The first step to enter the program is to make a diagnosis of English UC, and according to the result, the activities to participate are designated.

Discovering the world with UC
The Catholic University of Chile (UC) invites the world to its campuses, collaborating with embassies and other institutions. Since 2022, the university community has had the opportunity to experience diverse cultures through fairs, cultural exhibitions, lectures, experiential workshops, film series, and much more. These activities last between two and five days and take place during different semesters.
